Nabulabog lahat nung arestuhin ng National Bureau of Investigation agents si Jason Ivler Aguilar sa bahay nila sa Blue Ridge Subdivision sa Quezon City last Jan 18, 2010. Ma-aksyon ang video! Pagandahan ng dialogue ang mga ahente syempre!Congrats ko muna ang mga NBI agents for a job well-done…you are the men!
Anyway, during the arrest of Ivler, medyo magki-critics lang ako ng konti. Normal yun after ng operation na mag conduct ng critics on tactical approach and execution.
Puna Number 1:
Being well-informed ang assault team that the subject was armed and dangerous, and had undergone extensive military training, actually Ivler was a trained US Marine (Ranger), so they should not discount the possibilities. One is that possibility that the suspect might have prepared better than them and may shoot better than them. Most of the agents are not wearing vest, and if other do have vests, these are not rated for the possible arm the suspect may going to use. Dapat ba isiping laging naka de-bola ang kalaban? I admired the PNP-ASG Special Operation Unit, how they equipped themselves the fact na ill-fated ang budget ng PNP compared sa NBI.
Puna Number 2:
I saw Marlene Aguilar-Pollard right at the middle of the action. I will ask those guys in the service who did the same type of raid using tactical assault if that was correct? The playing area was too small, two rooms facing each other. During the first room inspection, nakita ko si Marlene trapped on one side which was really nasa line of fire kung nandun si Jason. Whew! Formidable! But Jason was in the second room (actually staircase pala yata yun, di kita sa video e), and the shooting started in that second phase. Few bullets flew and Jason was down. Since maliit lang yung play ground, dapat na-cleared muna yun sa non-combatant bago nag-assault and they knew and they were expecting that they might get engaged anytime. Baka between them walang casualty, tapos si Marlene lang ang body count dun kung tumagal pa.
Puna Number 3:
Pinned down na ang suspect and he had ceased to be a big threat, plus ang dami pang umaaresto sa kaniya at naglalagay ng posas. Well ganun siguro talaga, mataas ang tension e, excited lahat.
